Taranto's 4/27 BOTW reports that Steven Spielberg told the AP that he is confident any ET visitors to Earth, should they materialize, will be friendly: "I can't believe anybody would travel such vast distances bent on destruction.  I believe anybody who would travel such vast distances are curious explorers, not conquerors.  Carrying weapons 100,000 light-years is quite a schlepp.  I believe it's easier to travel 100,000 light-years with their versions of the Bible."  Spielberg told AP this in LA.  Figures.  Schlepping 100,000 light-years nightly across LA's freeway maze to go out to dinner takes its toll after a few decades.  (Yo, Steven, carrying Bibles 100,000 light-years is ALSO "quite a schlepp.")
