Addressing a crowd in Oregon Saturday, Barack Obama told the audience (video link--24 sec.) that in the past year he had traveled to all but one of the continental United States--he'd been, he said, to 57. Yes, 57, as in varieties of Heinz ketchup (even John Kerry did not make this gaffe, despite familial temptation). He gets a pass for fatigue, etc. Just as Al Gore got for translating "E pluribus unum" as "Out of one, many" instead of "Out of many, one." Democrats get that slack cut for them. The GOP? Ask Dan Quayle--a better foreign policy maven than either Barack or Al. Big Mac had better not have a fatigue fit or Senior Moment, either.
