The Telegraph UK reports that doctors in Britain say that the National Health Service is secretly uploading patient health data to a government database before people can exercise their legal right to opt out. NHS is supposed to give people 12 weeks public notice. There are 1.3M people in the database now, with 50M slated by 2011, to then make it the planet's largest health database.
